Craft idea for weaving frame
Wall decoration jellyfish
How it’s done

Step 1:
You will need:
The WEB0117 weaving frame, warp yarn, blue and pink wool, scissors, a wool needle, a wooden stick, 2 black beads, black yarn, pink and red felt, and glue.

Step 2:
Place the two metal spokes in the outer slots of the weaving frame and screw them tight. Then completely cover the weaving frame with warp yarn and weave a small piece with the blue wool on the shuttle.

Step 3:
For the tentacles of the jellyfish, make 10 bundles of approx. 6 threads each, each 50 cm long. Tie each bundle as shown in the illustrations around two warp threads.

Step 4:
Tie one bundle around two warp threads as shown in the illustrations.

Step 5:
Now braid the tentacles ten times, knot them at the end, and cut off the excess wool. Then weave the body of the jellyfish. First weave across the entire width, then gradually narrow down at the sides, leaving the warp yarn strands free.

Step 6:
Now weave the areas to the left and right of the jellyfish‘s body one after the other using blue wool threads on the wool needle.

Step 7:
Then continue weaving with the blue wool on the shuttle. Sew all protruding threads on the back.

Step 8:
Loosen the screws on the metal spokes and pull out the spokes. Then sew on two black beads for the eyes. Cut out the mouth and two cheeks from felt and glue them on.

Step 9:
Now cut the loops of the bottom row of warp yarn and knot the adjacent threads together. Finally, thread the top row of warp yarn onto the wooden stick and tie a ribbon at both ends for hanging. Done!
